01 Our philosophy

Sugar & Gold exists to help women connect with generous, verified men in a way that is safe, respectful, and built on honesty about what each person wants. These guidelines describe the standard of behavior we expect from every member, and they apply from the moment your profile is created through every interaction that follows, both on the Platform and after contact details are exchanged.

02 Be honest about who you are

Every member is expected to provide accurate, truthful information about themselves, including their identity, age, and the general details of their lifestyle. Misrepresenting who you are undermines the trust the entire platform depends on. This is also why identity verification, including a government issued ID and a live selfie, is required for every member before their profile becomes active.

03 Treat every member with respect

Disrespectful, demeaning, or aggressive behavior of any kind is not tolerated. This includes but is not limited to insults, discriminatory language, unwanted persistence after someone has expressed disinterest, and any attempt to pressure another member into an arrangement or behavior they have not agreed to.

When you describe your preferences during signup, including what a match should and should not do, that description exists to help us find someone genuinely compatible with you. We expect matched members to honor those stated boundaries once contact has been made.

04 No exploitation or coercion

Sugar & Gold has zero tolerance for any form of exploitation, coercion, manipulation, or financial abuse. This includes pressuring a member into an arrangement they are not comfortable with, withholding agreed support as a form of control, or using the platform to manipulate someone financially or emotionally against their will.

05 What Sugar & Gold is not

Sugar & Gold is a companionship and introduction platform. It is not a platform for soliciting or advertising commercial sexual services, and members may not use the Platform, including their profile description, to offer or request sex in exchange for payment. Any arrangement between members regarding companionship, support, or lifestyle is a private matter between the individuals involved once they are introduced, and must comply with the laws applicable to them.

06 Communication expectations

Once you and a matched member have both agreed and contact details are exchanged, we expect that communication to remain respectful, honest, and consistent with what was described during the matching process. Ghosting after making firm commitments, misrepresenting your intentions, or being dishonest about your circumstances undermines the trust of the entire community.

07 Safety practices we encourage

• Take your time getting to know a match before meeting in person
• Choose public locations for early meetings
• Let a trusted friend or family member know your plans
• Trust your instincts, and end contact with anyone who makes you uncomfortable
• Report any behavior that violates these guidelines, even after contact details have been exchanged

08 Photo and profile standards

Profile photos must be recent, must clearly show your face, and must be your own. Sexually explicit images, images of other people without their consent, and misleading or heavily altered photos are not permitted. Your written description should be honest and should not include contact information, external links, or content unrelated to your preferences and expectations.

09 Discretion and privacy

Many of our members value discretion. Do not share screenshots, personal details, or identifying information about another member outside the platform without their consent. Respecting another member's privacy is part of respecting them as a person.

10 Reporting a concern

If another member violates these guidelines, whether on the platform or after contact information has been exchanged, please report it through our Report a Concern page. Reports are reviewed by our team, and we take appropriate action based on the severity and nature of the report.

11 How we enforce these guidelines

Violating these guidelines can result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the Platform, depending on the severity of the violation. Serious violations, including exploitation, coercion, or solicitation of commercial sexual services, will result in immediate and permanent removal, and may be reported to relevant authorities where appropriate.

12 Appeals

If you believe your account was suspended or removed in error, you may reach out through our Report a Concern page to request a review. Include as much relevant detail as possible so our team can look into it properly.
